Announcement

Just before Christmas 2014 we received some bad news.... The eight Elm trees in the Pines Garden had got Dutch Elm Disease. Following consultation with the Tree Officer of Dover District Council we have been instructed to to remove all of these trees.

Enjoy freshly prepared, home cooked lunches, sandwiches and generous cakes as well as teas, coffee and soft drinks. Most ingredients are locally sourced; in particular fruit and vegetables from the Pines Garden are used as much as possible.

Experience wartime village life and local history. Try on 1940s costumes, crawl under a Morrison shelter and visit a wartime garden. Bring your (great) grand parents and ask them to share their memories. Entrance is via the tea room.

The Pines Garden represents a blend of beauty, innovation and sustainability. This organically managed garden has a lake, poetry path and sustainability trail for children, as well as a grass labyrinth and organic kitchen gardens.
